Bethlehem Housing Authority and the city will hold a trunk-or-treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Northeast Community Center, 1161 Fritz Drive. The public is invited to examine current plans for a new, mixed-income community in the 1940s-era public housing property.
Those parties now will be able to call witnesses and make arguments of their own, as is the case with the original appellee, North Whitehall Township. Argument for the appeal is planned to begin at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 17 at Lehigh County Courthouse.
Crews will begin laying steel for the Overlook on History exhibition and educational space in early October, with some material from the nearby Grist Miller’s House’s interim shoring even being repurposed for the project.
The Heller-Wagner Grist Mill, located at 150 W. Walnut St. in Hellertown, is now officially part of the National Register of Historic Places, according to the Hellertown Historical Society.
