BETHLEHEM, Pa. - You might be fighting for a parking spot in Bethlehem during the holiday season, but you won't have to worry about paying for it.
- Lehigh Valley Health Network for the fourth consecutive year is providing free parking in Downtown Bethlehem
- The parking sponsorship aims to bring visitors to Christmas City and boost local shops

Bethlehem Mayor J. William Reynolds announced Friday that Lehigh Valley Health Network will provide free parking for the fourth consecutive year. Each marked spot will offer free parking for two hours in Downtown Bethlehem on Saturdays from Nov. 26-Dec. 24.
“[The free parking] encourages our guests to come downtown, enjoy the free parking in otherwise metered spots, and then visit our shops and restaurants within the Historic and SouthSide Arts Districts,” said Tammy Wendling, senior vice president of Bethlehem Initiatives for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, in a news release.
The all-day sponsorship hopes to encourage visitors to shop locally in the well-known Christmas City.

Christkindlmarkt in Southside Bethlehem has also kicked off for the 2022 season, and it runs through Dec. 18.
