Coroner IDs man found dead in Burger King parking lot in Bethlehem

The 31-year-old was found unresponsive Saturday morning in the parking lot behind the Burger King at 2141 Stefko Blvd. in Bethlehem.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - A man found dead in a Burger King parking lot Saturday morning has been identified as a 31-year-old from Allentown.

Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek identified the man as Sergio Barajas.

He was found unresponsive behind the Burger King at 2141 Stefko Blvd. about 9:40 a.m. Saturday.

Lysek said Barajas’ cause and manner of death are pending additional testing. An autopsy has been completed.

Bethlehem police responded to the call of an unresponsive person Saturday morning, according to police Lt. Nicholas P. Lechman. The restaurant was closed for a period as police investigated.

Police at the time said there was no danger to the public and any identification was being withheld until notification of family.
