BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Lehigh County coroner on Monday identified the woman who died Sunday in a motor vehicle accident at the western edge of the city.

Nora H. Coronado, 62, of Easton was killed Sunday, Dec. 17 after the vehicle in which she was riding was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of Eaton and Pennsylvania avenues in Bethlehem.

The accident occurred just before 4 p.m. Coronado was pronounced dead at 4:40 p.m. at St. Luke's University Hospital in Fountain Hill.

According to the Bethlehem Police Department, Coronado was a passenger in a Chrysler Town and County minivan struck by a Ford E350 work van. One occupant from the work van and two occupants from the minivan, including Coronado, were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Coronado was later pronounced deceased. Those who were injured remain hospitalized, a release said.

An autopsy will be conducted Tuesday to determine Coronado's cause and manner of death, according to a statement by Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio.

In addition to the coroner's office, the Bethlehem Police Department and the Lehigh County District Attorney's office are investigating.
