EASTON, Pa. — A new business is now open in Easton that aims offer a more personalized approach to beauty and wellness. With family, friends, and clients in attendance, Mariposa Medical Aesthetics & Wellness Spa held their grand opening Friday.
"There are not many providers in this area. There are more providers in the area of Allentown and Bethlehem, but I noticed when I did my research, there weren't that many there,” said owner Vanessa Esbri, about choosing this location for the spa.

Esbri is an experienced nurse practitioner from Brodheadsville, Monroe County. She said she saw a need for these types of services in Easton. “Most people when they leave my facility, they give me a hug and they go off smiling and happy. I call it 'happy medicine,'” she said.
“With the obesity crisis and people not eating healthy or not knowing what to eat or just in general gaining weight, I think there's a great need there."

The facility on Nazareth Road offers medical esthetics such as Botox, filler, facials, oxygen facials, micro-needling, IV therapy and programs for weight loss.
“With the obesity crisis and people not eating healthy or not knowing what to eat or just in general gaining weight, I think there's a great need there,” said Esbri.
“It's not a Botox party where you have people coming in and out in and out. You’ve got your dedicated time," she said. "I usually spend an hour plus with most people, to make sure that they get the proper care and treatment.”
The medical spa owner has another smaller office in the Poconos and said the Easton location will be open on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and by appointment on weeknights.
