EASTON, Pa. — A Philadelphia man charged in the shooting death of an Easton man in a city convenience store parking lot nearly a year ago has been ordered to face court on homicide charges.

Kameron Barnes Nuble, 34, had enough evidence against him presented at a preliminary hearing Friday to support charges of homicide and conspiracy to commit homicide in the death of Legious Minder, 46, District Justice Robert Hawke ruled.

Minder was shot just after 11 p.m. Oct. 26, 2023, in the parking lot of Chubby's Market, 154 W. St. Joseph’s St. on Easton's South Side.

After being shot, Minder was taken to a local hospital but later died of his injuries, police said.

Nuble was taken into custody in July at his Philadelphia home by Easton Police, with the help of Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Fugitive Task Force and SWAT team, a release from Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta said.

At the preliminary hearing, the district attorney "presented extensive evidence outlining the monthslong investigation, including surveillance video and sophisticated cell telephone location evidence, all to establish Nuble's involvement in the killing," the release said.

Nuble remains in county jail without the possibility of parole.
