Northampton County election officials flatten emergency paper ballots Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 so they can be tallied. County voters cast more than 2,160 emergency paper ballots after a flaw was discovered with the voting machines on Election Day.

Elections took place this week in the Lehigh Valley, and all eyes were on Northampton County. It was the only county in the state to report voting machine issues. Politics Reporter Tom Shortell breaks down that story and fills us in on other results. Hundreds flocked to Holy Infancy Church in South Bethlehem this week. Reporter Phil Gianficaro was there for the first-ever U.S. tour of a relic of St. Jude. In the Catholic faith, St. Jude is the patron saint of hopeless causes, and many came to thank the saint for helping with their hopeless causes. Phil shares some of the stories he heard.
