ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Allentown's Archer Music Hall, open just 10 months, already has its first repeat headline act.

Citizen Soldier, whose songs "Heavy" and "Burden" in 2024 hit the Top 5 hits on the Hard Rock chart, will perform at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, in the venue's smaller Arrow room, it was announced.

Opening the show, just as it did when Citizen Soldier played Archer on Aug.16, will be 10 Years and Adelitas Way. Also on the bill will be rockers New Medicine.

Tickets, the prices of which were not immediately announced, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at the Archer website or the box office at 939 Hamilton St.

The concert will be part of Citizen Soldier's Secret Songs II Tour.

The last time Citizen Soldier played Archer, it was part of its HeartSupport Tour to support HeartSupport — a mental health nonprofit founded by August Burns Red frontman Jake Luhrs.

Since its formation in 2016, Citizen Soldier has discussed mental health issues in its music.

The band has said its name is an attempt to personify the "struggles being fought within."

Its music has become an anthem for those battling anxiety, depression and trauma, and its live shows foster connection and catharsis for fans.

The band last year released its eighth album, "Family Heirlooms," and this year already has released a new disc, "Secret Songs — Vol. 1."

Rockers Adelitas Way have had nine songs hit the Top 30 on the Mainstream Rock chart, including the 2012 No. 1 hit "Criticize."

Three of its seven albums since its 2009 self-titled debut have hit the Top 10 on the Hard Rock Albums chart — most recently 2016's "Getaway." Its most recent album was 2023's "Power."
