PALMER TWP, Pa. - A Missouri couple that gained fame after pointing guns at protesters in their neighborhood is coming to the Lehigh Valley.

The rally is set for next Thursday evening at Fairview Park in Palmer township. A video of the McCloskeys holding guns as protesters passed their house in July went viral. Last month they were invited to speak during the Republican National Convention.

“America is such a great country that not only do you have a right to own a gun and a right to defend yourself but thousands of Americans will offer you free advice on how to use it at least that is what we experienced,” said McCloskey.

The Northampton County Republican Committee said the couple have been asked to speak about the second amendment and people’s right to defend themselves and their private property.
