SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. — After 14 years at the Allentown Fairgrounds, Pines Dinner Theatre will now call the Shops at Cedar Point home.

The exact location — 315 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. — was announced on the theater's Facebook page Wednesday morning, after a series of tips teased the reveal over the past 10 weeks.

On Jan. 9, the theater said in a Facebook post that it would hold a contest, awarding whoever could correctly guess its new location with hints. Those who participated can purchase tickets for upcoming performances while picking up their prizes.
Some hints included “Once in Allentown, always in Allentown!” and “We love to brush our teeth with Crest as we sit under a tall cedar.”

The outpouring of support from the community has left the Pines Dinner Theatre feeling “so grateful,” said Pines Artistic Director Oliver Blatt.

“We're just excited to reopen,” Blatt said. “It's just gonna be better shows and our same quality of dinner service and customer service.”

Most comments on the theater's Facebook post shared that same excitement and many congratulations.

Nothing is going to change other than location. We're just going to get a little bit bigger and a little bit better.

Pines Artistic Director Oliver Blatt

Blatt previously told LehighValleyNews. Com the theater anticipated a June 1 opening. Those plans are still intact, he said Wednesday.

“Nothing is going to change other than location,” Blatt said. “We're just going to get a little bit bigger and a little bit better.”
