Early morning bomb threat clears technical school

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - Students were evacuated early Friday morning in response to a bomb threat. Lehigh Career & Technical Institute (LCTI) evacuated students who had already arrived and sent students who were en route back to their home schools.

  • A bomb threat to LCTI was made at about 7:30 a.m. Friday
  • Students were evacuated
  • Students on their way to school were either sent back to their home schools or redirected by faculty

Student drivers were redirected by school staff on campus.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the threat which occurred about 7:30 a.m., according to a notice posted on the LCTI website.
