2nd gunman in fatal Allentown nightclub shooting surrenders, D.A. says

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting outside a nightclub last weekend turned himself in to authorities Saturday, according to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.

Pedro Junior Paulino, 35, of Allentown, was charged Wednesday with a dozen felonies, including criminal homicide and multiple counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

Allentown police on Thursday asked for residents’ help finding Paulino.

He was being held without bail Saturday in Lehigh County Jail after surrendering, District Attorney Gavin Holihan said in a news release.

"Ivan Diaz’s killing was the first homicide reported in Allentown this year."

Authorities allege Paulino and David Isaiah Rivera, 26, of Allentown, shot into a group of people about 4 a.m. outside BKK Lounge, 1500 Union Boulevard, after a fight inside.

Rivera was arrested and charged Sunday.

Ivan Diaz, 32, of Lower Macungie Township, died from multiple gunshot wounds around 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a local hospital, according to the Lehigh County coroner.

Diaz’s killing was the first homicide reported in Allentown this year.

Three other shooting victims are expected to survive, police said.
