BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Join Megan Frank every Friday at 9:30am and 6:30pm for Insights with LehighValleyNews.com on WLVR.

Each week she’s joined by reporters to talk about the stories they’ve been following.

These journalists are experts in their beats and offer you a greater understanding of the stories they’re working on.

Remember the scene from “The Graduate” where Ben Braddock was given one word advice? It was “Plastics.” That was back in the 1960s. Today we have a greater understanding of the dangers of plastic and “forever chemicals.”

Reporter Molly Bilinski joins Megan to talk about her latest report on state legislators trying to rid consumers of PFAs in products, and what a monumental task it is.

Reporter Ryan Gaylor has been following the story of Northampton County Department of Human Service employees seeking higher wages.

Members of the Service Employees International Union, Local 668, planned to strike on June 21. The strike was called off, but their fight hasn’t ended.

Ryan fills Megan in on what is happening with the workers.
