ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Lehigh County Board of Commissioners Cedarbrook Committee was approving contracts for the long-term care facility on Feb. 24 when it was interrupted by a barrage of profane language - set to the song “Let It Go” from the Disney movie “Frozen.”

The public meeting fell victim to “zoom bombing.”

Commissioners were able to eventually mute and remove the intruder and continue with business.

Zoom rooms across the world have experienced “zoom bombs” of obscenity and sometimes racism throughout the pandemic.

Committee members later apologized to the public for what was said to be a rare vulgar incident at a Lehigh County virtual meeting.

Members said they plan to unroll a new webinar platform for public meetings in early March that may stop future interruptions.
