Hear ye, hear ye! All hail the King of Peaceable Kingdom!
We joke, because there’s nothing very regal about this boy. King is a big, silly, lummox of a dog and we love him for it! King is 1 ½ years old, weighs 73 pounds and is half Boxer, half German Shepherd/Husky mix.
King has a big bark when you meet him, but he’s 100% soft inside. He has the best wiggle-butt when he’s excited to see you! He was surrendered because his prior owners were unable to care for him. He was crated a lot in the past and didn’t get proper training as a puppy, so he’s still learning good-boy manners, like potty-training and walking on a leash.
King is very talkative at the shelter, so he may benefit from a home without shared walls. King grew up around other dogs and supposedly cats, too, but we can cat-test him if you have a kitty at home. King would do fine around older children, but he’s probably too big for the little ones.
