ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Allentown is looking to sell the former bus terminal on West Hamilton Street.
The city is taking bids for the 1,500-square-foot former Allentown Bus Terminal, which it called a “prime real estate property" that "offers a significant investment opportunity.”
Bids from anyone willing to part with at least a half-million dollars — that is.
The minimum bid is $500,000, city officials said in a news release.
The property will be sold as is, and the city will provide no warranties or guarantees about the property.
The former Allentown Bus Terminal property features a 1996-built structure with about 1,500 square feet of space and three restrooms, and a 15-vehicle parking lot.

Sealed bids must be submitted to Allentown’s purchasing office by 2 p.m. March 28; email submissions will not be accepted.

The Allentown Bus Terminal closed in February 2023.
Anyone interested in the property can take a tour during open houses from 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays and 10-11 a.m. Saturdays through the end of the month.
