Pennsylvania now has 11 Presumed Confirmed Cases of Coronavirus

Pennsylvania now has 11 presumed cases of the coronavirus - concentrated in the Philadelphia and Scranton areas. This is an updated number from yesterday morning.

HARRISBURG - Health Department Secretary Rachel Levine announced three new cases at a news conference yesterday [Monday].

“Seven are from Montgomery County… Wayne County," said Levine.

Levine says three people have been hospitalized. Two from Montgomery County and another from Monroe County.

One of Montgomery County patients, a physician who works for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Levine said Pennsylvanians can expect to see more cases of COVID-19 in the coming days.
