UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley took a new name Monday: Promenade Saucon Valley.
Aside from being less of a mouthful, the new name reflects an “evolving focus on expanding tenant mix and a robust calendar of events,” according to an Instagram post from Krista Lynn, the mall’s marketing director.
In other words, Promenade is more than just shops.
It is, in fact, an “outdoor Lifestyle Center” that includes a movie theater, restaurants, several salons and a bank, for example, in addition to retail stores.

The change comes with a new website — PromenadeSauconValley.com — and updated Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Signs at the complex also gradually will change, Lynn wrote, and on-site furniture and landscaping will start to reflect a new color palette adopted as part of the rebrand.
The mall at 2845 Center Valley Parkway in Upper Saucon Township covers 480,000 square feet and houses more than 55 tenant businesses.
