BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Citing frigid air temperatures, refreezing surfaces, and poor road conditions caused by the recent snowfall, several area school districts have announced they will operate on 2-hour delays Wednesday, according to their respective websites.
Included as of 9 p.m. Wednesday:

Allentown School District

Bethlehem Area School District

Catasauqua Area School District, no AM LCTI

Easton Area School District

East Penn School District

Parkland School District

Northampton Area School District

Northern Lehigh School District

Northwestern Lehigh School District

Salisbury Township School District

Southern Lehigh School District, with a modified kindergarten schedule

The Diocese of Allentown has not indicated its plan for Wednesday.

However, some districts have indicated "Nonpublic school transportation will also run on a two-hour delay.
