BETHLEHEM, Pa. - U.S. Rep. Susan Wild missed votes in Congress this week due to an unexpected medical condition, according to a statement Thursday night from her communications director.
Wild, D-Lehigh Valley, received medical treatment in the 7th Congressional District and is expected to resume her duties next week. Communications Director Olivia Taylor-Puckett posted the announcement on social media.

As the ranking Democrat on the ethics committee, Wild will co-lead the probe.
Santos, a Republican from New York who took office this year, has drawn deep scrutiny for lies and embellishments about his resume and personal life.
Wild will co-lead the investigation with Rep. David Joyce, R-Ohio, with two other lawmakers from each party.
