BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Brad Klein reviews the week’s astronomical highlights with Bethlehem’s 'Backyard Astronomy Guy," Marty McGuire.

This week they discussed the phases of the moon.

McGuire said that the moon was full on Oct. 28 and is now in its "waning gibbous" phase.

"Waning" indicates that each day, we see less of the illuminated side of the moon and "gibbous" describes the bulging shape of the moon’s phases at any time between the quarter and full moon.
