BETHLEHEM, Pa. — With fireworks capping the festivities each year, you can usually say Musikfest goes out with a bang.

But the aerial display for the 40th year of Musikfest in 2023 is getting particularly rave reviews.

If you missed them in person, you can watch them here at high speed, in a time-lapse shot from the weather camera atop the Univest Public Media Center on the SteelStacks campus.

The media center is home to LehighValleyNews.com, PBS39 and 91.3 WLVR.

Sunday's acts and great weather drew large crowds across Bethlehem. The 10-day festival (11 if you include the Preview Night) is expected to produce a record number in attendance.

Last year drew a record 1.24 million people over the festival's full run.  ArtsQuest, the nonprofit organization that runs Musikfest, is expected to announce attendance and other wrap-up details for 2023 on Tuesday.

All indications are this year's version will set a new mark for the biggest crowds.
