On Thursdays-Sundays through Christmas, the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley host a holiday pop-up market that features local businesses with merchandise ranging from apparel to food and drinks.

In addition to shopping, the Grinch will also sign autographs and take photos with the visitors. The holiday market is also accompanied by live music, games, gift wrapping, a photo wall and more.

Live Advent Calendar in Downtown Bethlehem

Live Advent Calendar, a classic immersive Christmas experience, has returned to Bethlehem and will run through Dec. 23 daily.

A collaboration among Downtown Bethlehem, Touchstone Theater and Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, Live Advent Calendar brings an immersive festive vibe and special treats to visitors.

This Christmas is especially different: for the first time in its 14-year history, the event will feature costumed actors who perform a script written in the Dickensian style on Main Street.

There are also some “town criers” ringing bells and inviting visitors to gather around the Goundie House, the oldest building on Main Street. Participants then can enjoy each day’s performance which lasts about 10-15 minutes.

Here’s the schedule for this weekend:

  • Friday, Dec. 9: 5:30- 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 10: 5:30- 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 11: 5:30- 6:00 p.m.

This is a free event to attend. Read more here!

Christmas in Nazareth by The Moravian Historical Society

Nonprofit museum The Moravian Historical Society is hosting a Christmas event worth adding to your calendar for the holiday season!

From 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 10, The Moravian Historical Society will hold a free family-friendly "Christmas in Nazareth" on the lawn of the historic 1740-1743 Whitefield House.

The activities include a holiday market with local artisans, an annual putz display in the 1740 Gray Cottage, Historic Walking tours to the Nazareth Moravian Church putz display and seasonal food and drinks.

Sounds interesting to you? Visit The Moravian Historical Society’s website for more on the holiday event and historic exhibition.
