Northampton County voters also have three new secure drop boxes to drop their mail-in ballots this year. The locations are:

  • The Washington Township Municipal Building (Main Entrance Vestibule) at 1021 Washington Blvd., just outside Bangor;
  • The East Allen Township Municipal Building (Main Lobby) at 5344 Nor Bath Blvd., outside Northampton;
  • The NCC Fowler Family Southside Center (Main Lobby) at 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem

The new boxes join four other boxes at these locations:

  • The Northampton County Courthouse (Rotunda) at 669 Washington St., Easton;
  • The Northampton County Human Services Building (Main Entrance Vestibule) at 2801 Emrick Blvd., Bethlehem Township;
  • The Northampton County 911 Center (Main Entrance Vestibule) at 100 Gracedale Ave., Upper Nazareth Township;
  • Bethlehem City Hall (Main Lobby) at 10 E. Church St., Bethlehem

Accessing the drop-off boxes will not require going through security at any location, officials said.

Applications for mail-in and civilian absentee ballots are available in the Elections Office on the lower level of the courthouse at 669 Washington St., or by visiting The PA Voter Services website.

The last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot is April 16. Only registered Republicans and Democrats can vote in the primary.
