BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A 52-year-old man operating a dump truck died Tuesday in the second of two deadly crashes on Route 145 in Lehigh and Northampton counties, the coroner said.

Lincoln P. Brown, of Selinsgrove, Snyder County, was southbound on Route 145 in Lehigh Township when the crash occurred, said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.

It happened about 6:30 a.m. Lysek said Brown died from injuries sustained in the crash and the manner of death was accidental.

Hours earlier on Monday night, an Allentown teen died after he was hit by a car on MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township.

Emmanuel Gboyah, 15, was pronounced dead at 9:08 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Lehigh County Coroner Dan Buglio said in a news release.

Gboyah was hit by a vehicle in the 1100 block of MacArthur Road at 8:24 p.m., the coroner’s office said.

Buglio on Wednesday said an autopsy determined the death was caused by blunt force injuries from the crash, and ruled the death an accident.

The Whitehall Township Police Department, the Lehigh County Crash Team and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office also are investigating.

A Northampton County dispatcher said the Lehigh Township crash occurred on Route 145 near Mulberry Drive, with a lengthy closure expected as investigators remain on the scene.

The state road is also known as Riverview Drive and The Battle of the Bulge Veterans Memorial Highway in the area where the crash occurred, just south of Walnutport.
