Update: Upper Macungie man identified as victim in Route 100 crash

The victim in Tuesday's crash on Route 100 was identified Thursday as Krishan Kumar of Upper Macungie. He was a passenger in a car that collided with a tractor trailer in the area of Route 100 and Schaefer Run Road.

UPPER MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. — A township man killed in a crash Tuesday on Route 100 has been identified.

The Lehigh County Coroner's Office said Krishan Kumar, 32, was the passenger in a car that collided with a tractor trailer in the area of Route 100 and Schaefer Run Road, according to a release.

Kumar's cause of death was blunt force injuries from the collision, the coroner’s office said.

Along with the coroner’s office, the Upper Macungie Township Police Department and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
