U.S. Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-Lehigh Valley, secured almost $3.7 million in federal funding to support the first phase of a project to redevelop the former Iron Works site in Catasauqua.
The project would consist of a Lehigh Valley Health Network medical facility and 190 residential units near Lehigh Street and MacArthur Road.
Taylor Stakes and Lee Christman were sworn in as new board members.
The 39-year-old victim was riding a bicycle Wednesday afternoon on MacArthur Road when he was involved in a collision with a vehicle, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
The crash occurred about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday in Whitehall Township, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. Township police and county officials are investigating.
